Salvation Truth
God’s Plan of Salvation
God is good. God in His goodness has always loved us. He has loved you and me. Each one of us has turned against God, yet “God so loved the world (that includes you), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God in His true goodness cannot and will not tolerate sin, thereby, He sent Jesus Christ, His only son to pay for our sins. Sin is the failure (the falling short) to be and to live as one was born to be and live. There is a great cost to sin for “The wages of sin is death…” (Rom. 6:23a). Sin is the very reason all people will die one day. The “wage” (results) of sinful living catches up and death overtakes us. Yet, “…the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom 6:23b). God’s Word tells us “God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17). Even though God’s goodness cannot tolerate sin, God made a way for each person to be forgiven . John 1:12 tells us “… as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” Romans 10:9-11 explains what it means to believe (receive) Christ: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

God will transform you and provide you with eternal life. Do not wait, Believe and receive Christ in your life today, for one never knows when the wage of sin, death catches up.
